''Humanity has unquestionably one really effective weapon—laughter. Power, money, persuasion, supplication, persecution—these can lift at a colossal humbug—push it a little—weaken it a little, century by century, but only laughter can blow it to rags and atoms at a blast. Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand''. — Mark Twain

It is the laughter that makes the vast difference between humans  and other living things on this planet. Being a human if you are either poker-faced or Janus-faced and lacks the ability to laugh, you are dubbed as an animal. It is the ability of a good speaker who knows how to lace his speech with laughter here and there  makes him stand apart and his speech is well listened to.  ''Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine'', said  Lord Byron. A good laugh is like a morning sunshine, like a baby in the house that keeps people  there agog. In a gloomy house, the laughter brings in positive thoughts and motivate the people. Ms. Phyllis Diller. famous US comedienne in the 1970s and 1980s said: ''A smile is a curve that sets everything straight''.  Unlike smile, grin, and chuckle, laughter comes  from the  soul deep in us and as it overflows, it lights up surroundings and makes the people around us happy and cheerful.
